If you could sway BB, and tell them what you wanted,

    1. The proposed dual curved edge screen?

    2. An updated Torch but larger?

    3. Something else?

Me, I'm a firm #2, the Torch was sexy silver, the design and the ergonomics were great for typing. The feel of it snapping open and closed. The brick that has been shown does not excite me at all.

A Q10 form factor with a 4" screen +modern and innovative sliding keyboard like the 'concertina' keyboard patent we saw.
To keep a small/medium device in the catalogue like the 9900 and Q line were.

The feel of it. I always imagined the Torch 9850 (the all touch Torch), which had curved edges (but the screen didn't extend into them), and I imagined gestures like on the PlayBook for it and how it'd feel great. I think aesthetically it looks nice too. I really hope the slider just feels like the 9850 in general (but much bigger, of course).

I just hope they make a smaller variant that's narrower than the Classic, preferably with no curved edges, but I'll reserve my judgement on that.

Without the toolbar even the Classic is too big for me. I want a phone, not a freakin tablet to my face. One hand operation for the full screen real estate is a must in my books for a phone.

No app gap ( google play services available on BlackBerry)

An all touch high end phone.

Would love a fingerprint scanner but it should be fast, very secure, and it shouldn't hinder the screen..

    Multiscreen app support....

Good battery life. Honestly I wouldn't mind if the phone was a bit bulky.. thickness of the z10 is fine...

    More options in camera app....

Its a gimmick but I like the look of curved edges or maybe a curved screen...
    Anything else hahaha?

An updated larger Torch. It was a fun phone to use while it lasted but had its issues also.

4.7" screen with detachable sliding keyboard that works as extra battery and micro sd slot. People who need to get work done simply link both units. When it's time to play just detach them. Boom! Problem solved. No compromises.

For those not familiar with the all-touch Torch 9850/9860, check out these curves:
What would you prefer for a Slider?-torch-9860-9850-sideangleleft.jpg

I definitely want the curved edges because how great the 9850 felt in the hand.

    3. No curved screen, having used the s6 edge I found it hard to even look at the screen, focusing on it with those curves is a pain.

Torch 9810, my first BlackBerry, one of their best looking phones. Still waiting for the next version, soon I hope.

I'd love a bigger, updated torch, a replaceable battery is a must, would really like a toolbelt as well. With the classic's keyboard (much prefer classic over the Q10)

I'd want a Q5 keyboard, since it's apparently the only one that doesn't double type.

Imagine having it laying flat face-down on the table during a meeting. Having notifications light up one side of the screen would be nice since the red blinking light would not be visible. No vibrations needed. Not only that, but you can possibly have the screen notifications light up in different colors so you know if you need to pick it up or not... like a virtual red blinking light. Everyone at the table is just staring at your crazy phone. Why is it lighting up like that? Is the phaser about to go off, and in which direction? Who's going to get hit?

As for the OP... I've never had a slider, just the 9860. I hope the curved glass is only along the sides and not at the top/bottom. I didn't really care for that in the 9860. I wouldn't mind if they gave the option for the keyboard to flip out a little after sliding, maybe 35 degrees or less, so that it can hug the face like a flip phone. Don't know how structurally sound that would be, though. If it transforms all the way into a robot, I'm good with that, too. Seriously, though, caress the cheeks!
