Good question. I see mention of Task and Notes apps coming but no mention of Remember. I wonder if BlackBerry has reworked the app?

What is remember? Maybe we can help you find a decent alternative.

Remember app is an awesome app made by BlackBerry, it's basically an app designed for things you have to remember in life, like a quick note (voice or text) or a reminder. The nice thing about it is the integration. For example, for notes, it integrates and syncs with your note on exchange servers, or on Evernote, or locally on your phone, in one place. And you can set reminder to a note so it becomes a todo, and once you do that in remember app, the reminder is automatically added to your calendar, so when you opens your calendar app, it shows up there too.

I use remember app in the core of my GTD system, it's very convenient because my work notes (from exchange server) and personal notes (from local or Evernote) are in the same place but won't interfere with each other.

And I need to check my schedule, all the personal and business events and reminders are in the same place to so I can easily find the openings in my schedule, and don't have to open multiple apps and switch among them to compare.

If Hub is a hub of communications, Remember is a hub of notes. And they both integrates with Calendar app, so Calendar is a hub of timing sensitive events.

    Brilliant ideas, brilliant BB10.

I really like your description of Remember. And also the Hub analogies - BB10 actually has two hubs, a communication hub and a task hub. I think you hit the nails on the head with that

I too use Remember to unify tasks from different sources into one repository (Remember) which are then aggregated onto the calendar or the Task Hub as you have coined it.

It will be a sad day if /when BlackBerry discontinues development of these two hub concepts and tools like Remember and Blend that should be the core of a work phone.

I maybe just dumb, but I don't see how Evernote and Remember are linked together. I rarely use Evernote because they are separate. What am I doing wrong?

Just set up Evernote in Settings-Accounts, and Evernote folders will be created and synced in the Remember app. On BB10 I never even open the Evernote app, as I get both my Evernote and my Exchange/Outlook notes/tasks synced in Remember.

KeePass works very well; I run it now on BB10 and like it since it's cross-platform.

And yes, Remember/Evernote (linked) is one of the killer BB10 features -- again, cross-platform. None of this matters if the phone is all you care about, but being able to put a task in and have it show up on my desktop is VERY useful.
