I bought my Priv a few days ago and had everything set up with no big issues,
however, I have have not been able to receive WeChat messages properly.

When ever somebody sends me a message, it would not show until I open up the application.
I have do not have any power saver turned on (I did have Greenify and Avast Battery Saver before but I uninstalled and even factory restore the phone, since i figured that could be the problem)
and notification is not disabled anywhere.

I did a bit of testing and seems like that whenever I clear tasks (to preserve battery) or not have WeChat turned on beforehand , I will not be able to receive the notifications. The application running in progress will show that we chat has 0 service and 1 process.

Other applications worked just fine with background service running.

It is very important to me that WeChat functions cus I use it on a daily basis. I do very much like the Priv so I don't want to give it up just yet.

Is anyone experiencing the same problem with Wechat or any application (that gets killed by Clear task)?

Please excuse my poor grammar, thank you very much.

if you clear task i doubt you will get notifications. Remove the app from the list of tasks to clear and it should work.
