If I wanted Android, I would buy an LG or a samsung...

Both
I'd use BB10 OS for everything I can, and switch to Android when I need some crucial, android app that just can't be installed on BB10 no matter what voodoo Cobalt provides us to patch the app with.
In addition:
The phone will be an option for BB10 users who want a BB10 phone
The phone will be an option for Android users who want an Android phone
One phone targets two user bases, although maintaining two platforms at the same time might be a b!tch
BB10
Simple Security. I don't like how the other OS' are constantly "helping" their users by measuring usage, location, and installed apps. I just want my handset to work and be the best productivity tool out there.

bb 10 always
There was a survey before about your choice of OS for BlackBerry device whether you prefer BB10 or Android. It was overwhelming that BB10 is the choice so this thread is just a waste of time and redundant.
I would like to see a choice to install BB10 OR Lollipop 5.x UPON first bootup or setup. I guess, the device would probably have to have BB10 installed at the outset but when doing the initial setup, it would ask if you want to keep BB10 or do you want to install android. If you chose the latter, you would have to download android via wifi and install from there. Personally, I would keep BB10 and go from there.
Blackberry 10 only.
BB10 is what John Chen said.
I am so unable to comprehend all this. BlackBerry made the passport with both BB10 & Android RT which works for me (87 of 91 apks I have tried & some kept)... where's the beef?
I would prefer for the slider to ship with Blackberry 10 because it's a very fluid, unique, enjoyable operating system that easily differentiates itself from the rest.
LOL! This is what I often say on threads like this! :rotfl:
It doesn't matter. As long as build quality and specs are top notch. Then put a little BB10 flavour on it.
If it doesn't run BB 10, I'll just keep my Z10.

BB10 without question but with increased Android support including Google Play Services. The only other alternative I would accept is some form of dual OS.
Anyway, bottom line, BlackBerry 10 needs to be there.

Droid only because I know it's coming as much as I like BlackBerry 10 I don't see it evolving too much more. Too many of the key players for that are long gone from the company.
With Android there is no worry about that. Just integrate some of the things we know and love about BlackBerry stick a BlackBerry logo on the front and it's actually done deal

^^^^^^ THIS !!!
I agree with this as well. My reason for saying what I said in my posting. Couldn't think of two better points

BB10
Same here. I doubt BlackBerry would bring this to market w/o making sure the OS was ready- even while the OS in the early stages.
Easy, Android OS. Why? Because I am a BlackBerry fan. So, if they could become a player by going Android, I'm with it.
BB10! I love BB10 as it is so smooth and runs great. I love the hub and the gesture interface, the multitasking, and the general focus on productivity and efficiency, coupled with privacy and security. Having said that, apps are a reality and I am reliant on some Google apps for work, which thankfully mostly work currently. I REALLY hope that BB utilizes the QNX Hypervisor and runs a full BB10 at the same time as Full Android with Google Play Services and total app compatibility. I'd expect BB10 to be the "master" OS that functions as the main interface and acts like a "launcher" for Android. This could ensure security as well as productivity with all the apps.
I think QNX is just a much better architecture, so I don't want to see BB merely adopt Android with some modifications. BB10 is just designed for my needs and I still love using my Z10. I've played with a Nexus 6 and HTC One M8 and I just can't stand it, even if there are some nice aspects of Android (Material Design is nice). I'm sure BlackBerry could change Android more toward a BB10 experience, but it would really be like taking one step forward (apps) and two steps back (OS user experience).
[TIP]JUST ADDED AN ACTUAL POLL TO THIS THREAD.
Vote away people! ;)[/TIP]
Tweaked the thread title a bit too.
BlackBerry 10 all the way!
