So I got my Priv outright and then took a Vodafone sim-only deal that amongst other 'entertainment' offers supposedly gives you Sky sports mobile for 12 months.
I just found out that the Sky sports option is NOT available on the BlackBerry Priv! (one of the only androids not supported)
FFS, I thought that now we were on android we would not be the 2nd class citizens that miss out!

Sky apps are "sensitive" (also don't work on rooted phones), I am sure there are many other phones without access plus Priv hasn't been out for a long time, it will come if priv continues to be sold/ be successful

So if I am keen on having Sky sports I should not take up the Netflix option instead and wait a bit to see if it is changed?

There was a huge topic about Sky app on XDA Froums some time ago... they were always far behind when it comes to device compatibility.

Always thought the irony was delightful regards sky's lack of BlackBerry compatibility given RIMS sponsorship of sky atlantic channel for the first few years of its existence. We sponsor you but your customers can't get there shows on our phones? Nice.

The disclaimer is a bit sly too; they basically say that they don't have to give you your 1st choice so you are entitled to 2 selections.
Would be good if the sales rep told you straight out that BlackBerry wasn't part of the deal.
Netflix isn't a bad compromise, but I chose to move from O2 to vodafone specifically for being able to watch premier league football on my new Priv!
