OK, since it would appear that at least for now T-Mobile is not carrying the Priv, does anyone know if the VVM android app they preinstall on T-mobile branded devices works with any android device on their network? I'm on the limited minutes 30 prepaid plan so VVM is very important to me.

I not familiar with how TM deploys the VVM but for me and my carrier, I simply receive an email (address of my choice) and a text message containing the same vvm message. No app required. If TM operates anything like my carrier...there's no reason why it wouldn't work on a Priv

Right but BB10 and iOS have VVM built in to the OS. On Android it's not there. So many carriers, including T-Mobile, have an app that accomplishes the same thing. Just wondering if any unlocked non t-mobile devices have issue with said app.

Correct, when I tried the new Nexus 5x last week, the built in VVM worked great with my Tmobile Sim inserted. On Lollipop you need to download the Tmobile VVM App
