I was going to wait patiently for the Priv. Now that we know its going to run Android and I can't see any other mobile OS that's better than BB10, I'm tempted with the latest windows 10 phone Lumia 950.
Looks very interesting - lots of great features - best camera in a mobile, skpe, onedrive, outlook all in built, high res, dual antenna tech, liquid cooling, SD card support upto 2TB, usb 3.0 for faster transfer/charging to name a few. Prices is pretty good as well at $549.

Most importantly, it might be available before Priv. So seriously considering it!!

Lumia 950 is very enticing for me too. And at a great price. Windows mobile is the only platform I haven't tried yet so I'm curious to see it for myself.

BlackBerry really needs to make the announcement soon. Time is ticking fast and I'm being pulled away to Microsoft's side haha.

Based on the Passport launch, it came AFTER the Toronto and London unlocked launch.

I was speaking to a BlackBerry tech regarding a customers phone, the tech went through all the confirmed info on it, and when I asked about a release date because customers were getting impatient and grabbing an s6 or 6s, he said it should be out this month. Take it with a grain of salt as I did.
P.s I know that's an on going sentence.

I don't know much about the Windows phones, but would it be the same as BB10 in that there will be no Google Play Services?

It's interesting but the lack of Windows apps kills it. Having lived with few native apps for so long I'm done with it. If I'm leaving BB10 (no decision yet) I'm going BlackBerry Android.

They already confirmed today that there are universal apps coming for Instagram and Facebook from the vendors themselves. And they're going to have a far better time getting third-party clients and app support with universal, since it only has be written once. That said, I'm waiting to see the app situation before I pull the trigger on the XL. Blend has gotten me rather dependent on mobile/desktop integration and the Continuum dock turning the phone into a functioning PC was enough for me to cancel my Nexus 6P preorder this morning.

There's still the heating issue and the fact that we didn't really see the phone. I'm thinking I could hold onto my phone for a year longer. There's roumers of the 820 chip having the same heating issues as the 810 and it should be resolved in 830 in about a year. Didn't really see anything that blew my pants off the idea of using your phone as a PC has been around forever.

They have built-in liquid cooling. Now how effective that is at cooling the 810, we don't know yet, but the recognition of the problem and a putative solution is argued to be in place.

When my three Z30's no longer function, I will probably use a Windows phone. No Android or iOS for me. I have a Windows 10 phone now and trying it out and started developing some apps for it.
