I just spoke with a Verizon Technician and asked them if they had any information on the new Blackberry Slider. He looked into it and said in their system it does show they will be getting the SLIDER when released. He even went on to tell me they have some specs on it but not a lot. It will run Android and it does have 3GB of RAM along with a 5.4" Screen.

This is some good news if they are showing in their system that they are getting it. I know information released that it will be available across all major US carriers but I was skeptical because they did say that about the Passport at one point too.

Cool, except any information from a "Verizon technician" is crap. Not to mention him stating it's in his system. Many of us have been here through many, many BlackBerry releases. This information you are describing is crap. It's not true.

Nobody except the top crust, at Verizon, have any idea of what devices they will be getting ahead of say a official release.
