For anyone looking to pick up a Priv on Verizon. The retail price is now $408 which comes out to $17 a month on device payment plan. Even with the lack of Marshmallow and security updates, it's not a bad price if you you're looking to pick one up. Just a FYI for everyone!

Huge drop by Verizon... last week it was still $720.

Very good for anyone on Verizon that might want a PKB type device... too bad it's not in retail stores for people to see.

For new customers, if you use promo code (Save100) the retail price drops by $100 and the device comes out to $308 which is $12.83 on device payment plan. I tested it and it did work. $300 for a new Priv seems like a very good deal.

Maybe they are concerned about selling their remaining stock when questions of MM and Security Updates are circulating including complaints to the FCC and BBB (better business bureau).

Could very well be true! Verizon probably just wants to get rid of this phone and cut it's ties to BlackBerry. For some reason I'm not at all shocked.

Just checking before I order. Is it just the Marshmallow update that we have to rely on Verizon for or do we still rely on them to push the monthly security updates?

To think that a new one on ebay for $499 was a good deal. This one was even better!

2 weeks is not too late for a price match. I just got off the phone with VZW and they offer a 30 day price match. It is too late for me though. Got mine around the end of May.

Trying to order this on line but even if I purchase outright the line fee goes up $25 per month. Verizon are looking into the issue for me.

Just tried with this promo but would not work. Saying can't be combined to existing promo (discount of private to $408). If it worked for you awesome But does not work now

We are stuck waiting for Verizon to issue both OS (MM) updates as well as the monthly security fixes. We are still stuck with June in the security arena.

It's in several retail stores within the Nashville, TN area. In fact, all the VZW stores around here have them on display.

BUT, now you will get MM and timely updates instead of being held hostage in Lollypop by Verizon with all their delays.
