Ah yes that stupid Lookout Security app. I recognize it.
Anyone else notice that yellow bar that popped up when he pulled down the android settings. Kinda looks like BB10 tutorial prompts when you first use your phone. seems interesting. Or does Android have similar prompts/notification like that too?
great thanks for sharing +++++++++
No showing off the hub or other important apps?? Really?
What a waste of a video.

hell yea very thin in fact
lol lol lol oh very good very good indeed
I have to admit I am loving it
Varies from maker to maker but yes could be first-run tutorial.
Some of the larger tech sites are taking notice now:
I'm hoping so as well
Wow! Its reminds me of the Passport, the more reveal videos I see of it the more I want it! Hopefully when I'm ready to upgrade there will be a silver or gold editions available!
BlackBerry wouldn't release a device without the LED, I'm confident of that.

Is there any evidence at all of QNX in this device?
None. As expected.

The sliding action and look makes me think of a futuristic version of the Matrix phone.
Let me call Neo.
It does look thin . . . unlike good old Torch devices.

I wouldn't expect to see the notification LED on a device someone just got - as the guy in the video says. No accounts on it, nothing to for the LED to light up for... yet.
But, as others have said, I certainly would expect to see it. I just hope is't as customizable as the BB10 LED is.
I had zero intention to buy this phone. This video may have changed that. Touch keyboard?? I didn't even think that was on the table as a feature. Man... this will sell very well. Best of every world in one phone
Ya, all you lag comments, it's a test device lol calm down
and huge
...if it had the toolbelt I'd agree with you. It's ALMOST the best of every world...
Yeah, but that's a 2009 design - or maybe late 2008 depending on when development with AT&T actually started. I forget exactly when, but it was a phone developed with AT&T as a partner in the beginning.
Another nice detail revealed from german blackberrybase.net. The Camera optics are from Schneider-Kreuznach. These should be quality lenses IMHO.

I was like you not going to buy but now I don't know ,but I hope that this sells like hell be so good for blackberry and bring blackberry back into the game :D
They will definitely going have a red version of that device.

I don't know, not convinced yet:
1. Battery life?
2. Too used to Peek and flow now, not sure how the hub is integrated in Android
3. A little plastic-ish... I know this is a test device and the real deal usually is much nicer, but still.
4. That curve edge, what's it for?
At this point no urge to camp outside of ShopBlackBerry store
