I purchased a brand new unlocked ATT branded Priv because my old priv died.

I have Tmobile and can't update it for the life of me. I tried Abouts Phone > Check for Update and it says it's up to date.

I tried the *#Checking route (spelled correctly) and it says "checkin succeeded on the top but does nothing.

I put in a ATT Sim card and did About Phone > Update and its still says it's up to date when it's not. It's still on 5.1. Any other ideas? Thanks
