    **newish to forums. if this needs moved elsewhere, please do so.**

    I purchased an old/new Priv STV100-2 running 5.1.1 and experienced "Unable to install System Update on BlackBerry powered by Android Smartphone" OS issue.... Cell signal was mostly unreliable and inconsistent, everything else seemed to work but the phone wouldn't update.

    Neither Verizon Tier I/ II phone support nor Verizon in-store reps could help. A 5 minute conversation with Blackberry did the trick. (877-255-2377). Start here Unable to install System Update on BlackBerry powered by Android Smartphone

    Glad you got it working. I also purchased a good condition priv and enjoy using it, I would love to see a priv 2 but I know that's just a dream.
