I can't view pictures posted in the forums on my PRIV. The show up as broken Gray tiles.
Is there something I'm missing?
Thanks.

Are you logged in? I'm not sure if there's other settings that might affect downloading images (takes data and time) which can be toggled on/off?
Testing by posting a picture.
I can see the picture I just posted. Hmmm
Here's a test pic
How do you rotate the photos?
I can only see them when I'm on WiFi! On just data they will not show!!! @!
There's some problem either with Crackberry or with the BIT that suggests orientation. What I do is re-save PORTRAIT oriented photos on my computer using irfanview and that usually fixes the problem. Then post them.
There might be a setting that affects that. Under Main Settings, Data Usage hit the 3-dot menu (upper right). Restrict Background Data mentions wifi.
I thought I remember some other similar setting that limits downloads - maybe that's for updates, either OS or apps???
Can't see this.
I can see this.
If the CB app is open, it's not background and the restriction should not apply.
There is a setting that restricts app updates to wifi only.
I'm not aware of a setting that would do this, which means nothing, cuz there are a LOT of settings in various places. And even the ones I'm aware of I forget about, or can't remember where they are.
The problem with pictures is the attachments, not hotlinks.
When you attach a picture CB app freaks out and doesn't know how to display the image since this forum uses a random code for each picture instead of hotlink
This might work:

This might not (most likely won't) work:
Attachment 414053
Bump.
Yep, same here. Attached photos sometimes show up, but usually don't.
Maybe you can add your voice to this thread: http://forums.crackberry.com/crackbe...reads-1088707/ even though it's not about a Priv, but about iOS (iPads specifically). Since a third-party (Tapatalk) writes the application for CB, Bla1ze has very kindly offered to try to get in touch with them about this issue.
Weird, I see the pictures now. Maybe they work on WiFi but not on LTE? Is this possible. Will disconnect and check again.
I use Wifi exclusively so I can't say about LTE but I'd be curious to know if that makes a difference either way.
