    I got a notice that there was an update for Amazon Music, but when I try to update, I get "can't install app" "code: -505". Has anyone else had this error or know how to fix it?

    Guess I should have noted that I have a Verizon priv and I think those apps come included.

    I also have the Vz Priv. I've tried a dozen different "how to fix 505" with no success. The app still works, but it'd be nice to know how to fix it.

    Hi

    I just got a PRIV and I think I know what the issue is - try going into Settings, select Security and scroll down to "Unknown sources" - click on or allow.

    I installed Amazon appstore and some apps from it and it required that this setting was turned on.

    Found this solution on Amazon forum. Enable and update Audible app. Then your other amazon apps will update without errors. Sounds crazy, I know. But it worked.
