It is difficult to believe that a bit more than 2 years ago the BlackBerry Priv was launched. I bought this smartphone on release day with Roger Wireless because as a sceptic about Google Android I wanted hands-on experience with BlackBerry's incarnation known as BlackBerry Android. I am happy with the BlackBerry Priv.

2 years??? I bought mine at launch 6 November, 2015 which is a little over 14 months.

You must have gotten a really early release of the Priv if you've had yours 2 years...

The BlackBerry Priv was release± November 2015 if I recall. It is January 2017 this evening so yeah it has been less than 2 years with a consumer model but I was using a pre-release device prior.

    Maybe just a math error.

No matter. My Priv still works good after a few hiccups. I don't know how long I've had it.

Maybe it's so bad it felt like 2 year instead of 2 months. Lol

After finding about clearing the app cache and changing animations to 0.5, it's made the PRIV much better.

I was ready to dump thing for something else.

Search the forums for it, getting into developer options and turning animations down or off. Run mine completely off and the "snappiness" is golden.

I looked it up a while back. I gather both are correct although the K looks more authentic!
