Tips, tricks and discoveries
Not sure if a thread has been started by already.
In the hub, with the PK exposed, a swipe down from the top of the keyboard reveals the day's calendar activities. Seems to only do this while in the hub.

BlackBerry Priv Tips and Tricks
I decided to make this thread so we can help make the Priv better, and add some positivity to the Priv forums. Post your tips and tricks. **These are tips and tricks where you don't have to download an app to make something better.** I guess we could save that for another thread. Anyway, some of you may know these but some may be new.
- Double tap the screen to wake up the Priv. My wife kept using the power button.
- Use the productivity tab edge feature. It's pretty much BB10's peek feature. I can swipe over, and then without lifting my finger swipe back.
- You can change the recent apps to look like BB10's by going to settings/display/recents and set it to tiles. I didn't care for the default masonry.
- Saw some complaining about the whites looking to warm. This can be adjusted by going to settings/display/color adjust
- Dislike bloatware? Open app drawer. Hold the app you dislike, and drag it to the disable label. The app won't be uninstalled, but it won't run and you won't receive notifications, and the app will be removed from the app drawer.
- Just like with BB10 you can swipe across the white page dots to quickly get to the page you want. (I'm talking about the white dots above the app drawer)
- Turn on Pop-up widgets. Hold a blank spot on the homescreen, and go to settings. Pop-up widgets are very useful. For example, if I swipe up or down on Google Chrome, instead of tapping the app to fully open it, it shows my desktop/mobile bookmarks for me to choose :)
- Long pressing a key on the keyboard allows you set up that key to open an app/speed dial/compose messages, but the phone also has Short-press shortcuts. Hold a blank spot on the homescreen, and go to settings. Tap "typing action" and change it to "Use a short-press keyboard shortcut". For example on my phone, short-pressing the C key opens the CB app, but long-pressing the C call my wife Crystal.
- If you only want email notifications from the Hub and not Gmail also, open Gmail, swipe over from the left edge, scroll down to settings, tap your email address and turn off notifications
- Make your phone look like your previous BB10 phone as much as possible to somewhat feel at home. That's what I've done.
My main screen is similar to BB10's "Show Wallpaper When All Apps Are Closed" setting

My 2nd screen is similar to the apps layout I had on my Passport except for the Etsy seller widget.

Those are most of the tips and tricks that I can think of at the moment. Hope this helps someone. Feel free to add more tips please.
