I'm using the timer in the stock clock app to keep track of time and I'm doing it in a serious discussion. However, I've noticed to my horror that the timer sound alert goes off after it reaches the countdown time even though I've set my device to priority only (the clock app is not a priority app) and the sound to vibrate.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug? Could someone help do a test on the same settings?

Maybe the clock is still a priority app since it contains the alarm clock... However, I've just had a look, and you should be able to resolve your issue. You can adjust the timer settings - set its alarm to "no sound" and enable vibration for timer separately. So, as long as you're fine with adjusting the settings independent from profiles, that should fit your needs. In worst case you might need to install a second timer app with different settings for other purposes.
