I live in Panama and I'm thinking on getting one of those BB PRiv from Ebay that are from AT&T. Will I be able to get the updates event though I live outside the USA?

Im using the at & t unit, update from are said to be always late, not sure yet when that will be, but I heard they released a beta verson of Marshmallow already so thats anytime soon. To be able to update from Panama, you might need to have a At & t simcard.

if you get it, you will need an active AT&T sim card to get their updates. your best bet would be to buy a factory unlocked one directly from shop.blackberry.com

(unless there is at&t coverage down there)
(you can go to at&t's website to check but that would mean having 2 active cell phone sim cards)

Don't get an AT&T Priv, no matter what.

If you want a Priv, spend the extra and get a factory unlocked version.

Thank you all, it looks that the at&t priv it's just not for me considering that I will be locked forever in Android 5.1 considering the geographic issue. Right now I'm using a Lumia 950 XL that is really great but I have a the need of a physical keyboard. I have the opportunity to get a new passport for 280.00 but the issue of the apps looks really bad as a right now I'm a WhatsApp heavy user, I guess I will have to wait for the BB Rome if someday it's released.
