Battery and performance issues can be resolved by wiping the cache and or ART (dalvik) on Android phones. Anyone know how this is possible on the Priv?

Is it not the same as other Android phones?

    1. Hold Power button + Volume Down at the same time.
    2. Use the volume keys to scroll through the headers until it says Recovery Mode.
    3. Press Power button to make your choice. (This will bring up the little Android icon lying on his back with his belly open.)
    4. Hold down the Power button and then press the Volume Up button, which will bring up a list of commands to choose from.
    5. Use the volume keys to scroll down to 'Wipe cache partition' and use the Power button to select the option. This could take a few minutes. After it's finished, though, the same list of options will come up and you just have to choose the first option, 'Reboot system now' with the Power button.

I can get to a recovery menu but there are few options...only fastboot (selecting just reboots to recovery), continue or shut down. No recovery options. There may be another bootup recovery menu, just haven't found it.

    Nope. BlackBerry locked that out.

There is a cache in the Storage setting.
