Every time I send a text using textra the app closes Is there a setting telling it to close after every text? It can get annoying when having a conversation.....

Are you actually opening the app to send or replying from the quick reply in notification bar?

I am opening it from the hub.

So what do you mean the app closes? The whole idea of the hub is so you don't have to open an app to respond.

When I am talking to somebody I would like the app to stay open instead of it closing every time I send a text. When I get a text I go to the hub and click on it. I then read it and reply then it automatically closes..... I just want it to stay open.

I do not believe this is possible, at least not yet. Textra and the hub don't play nice.

Textra the app is not opening. The popup reply is opening over the hub after you select a message. There is no setting in textra to enable it to open the entire app when selecting a message from within the hub.

OK I guess it seems like it is opening the entire app. I had this phone before but just got another and I don't remember it working like that.

That's because responding from the hub isn't actually opening the app. Same as responding to textra notification when you are in any other app. It is supposed to work this way.

I think the stock messenger app might work like you want if you go back to it and try.

I am getting used to the way textra works and will probably stick with that one for now. Thanks for the help/advice!

I like textra too, but irritating that if I delete a text on hub , I have to also do it on textra. Is it the way it works or am I not setup right?
