Hi All. Just got my hub update yesterday and now, when my phone is open to the text screen, the notification doesn't chime! I have looked through setting and can't find where, if possible, to go back to that. Does anyone know how to engage that feature! Totally frustrating to have to back out of the text screen or be totally focused on the screen while waiting for a text.

Might help if we knew what SMS app you are using. Most likely the setting is in the SMS app, not the hub.

Hi. It's just the regular text messaging through blackberry. Not a special app. Although the same applies to Hangout and WhatsApp. If the screen is open and I am in mid-conversation, it doesn't alert me there is a new message.

I should mention that in the text settings, there is only an option to set a tone, not to set a tone when the screen is engaged.

check the Alert settings in Hub Settings. They were probably switched off by default.

I also didn't get a sms notification when yaata was open.

And yaata does not have a separate option re notification when screen is open eirther.

Hub settings don't devolve into sms notification setting as suggested by a poster above.
