I phone TELUS today to find when the Priv was going on sale in BC and I am now being told it will not happen on November 06th, but maybe November 15th.

I'm really getting the impression that this phone will be sold out/back ordered, if not already due to pre-orders and a low initial order by BB.I don't know if that's a good thing or not,

I was in the Telus store today. I got to hold a display model. The Priv is real nice. But i have to keep my Passport for a little while longer yet. Maybe i'll wait for a sale.

I told the rep it says the 6th on the website, but I think you are right, they are pretty thick.
I will phone our local TELUS store on the 5th.

I just talked to a Telus rep. She said it will be available in store and online on the 6th, and pricing details should go up on the website on the 5th.

ugh! My Telus store just told me that they WILL NOT sell the Priv without a contract renewall when released! Pretty ****ty, was hoping to buy outright as I'm not due a contract renewal.

Rogers are shipping to stores tomorrow for preorder pick up Friday. Not sure about general walk in sales.

I did the rounds of the carriers at a local shopping centre today. Telus said they might have a working unit on Friday, Rogers said they hoped they were getting it soon, and Bell showed me their dummy display unit. They all seemed quite interested in it.
