I see the difference. But why did OP post it if it's not going to be live for atleast a week at this rate.

I'm starting to get annoyed here with BlackBerry and how they run day-to-day operations. Scattered... Unorganized... I expect more from a company that is so focused on privacy if they can't get things done internally. This whole pre-order vs order fiasco, the Priv page going up for an hour, then Rogers apparently having pricing info for $399/$799 and when I contact live chat or call their customer service line or even stores no one knows a damn thing... I even asked to check internally. I called a Telus store and she had no idea what I was talking about, called in customer service because of how the rumour was that BB Reps went to Telus' offices with the Priv's to show it off, yet no one knows absolutely anything.

I'm just getting really fed up. I have $ set aside for this thing, if I don't hear anything tomorrow I found a cheap S6 Edge+ to buy for $580 and I'm buying that out right and that's just going to be my device of choice.

All the controlled leaks and such were fun... but it's time to give up some information here BlackBerry... honestly... it's about time to get this out the door since it's been in testing since July(if I remember correctly) based on the FCC info...

Fed the heck up at this moment.
I'd get that Edge 6+ if you seriously found a new one for $580. That's a smoking good deal. Worst case, if you don't like it, resell it and you'll make a few coins.

Was just told by Telus rep that there's not going to be a pre-order for them
Will be available online and in store on day 1
    I'm not sure I 100% believe that >_<

Look at the Rogers post I made, the rep confirmed $399/$899 internally and not the $399/799 price point.. so fml..
    From the OP's link:
After receiving credible proof of Bell Mobility's & Rogers' plans to carry the BlackBerry Priv, we can exclusively confirm today that Telus will indeed carry the BlackBerry Priv, with an expected availability of November 6th. The actual pricing is not known at this time, but you can expect it to likely mirror Roger's pricing of $399/2yr & $799 outright.

I don't understand why some people have no info, whereas others are giving incorrect info(if the $799 is true)?

No one seems to be on the same page...

BB's launch of the Priv was a joke, so go figure
Unless their actual launch event is on the day of?

This morning I went back to Rogers online chat and asked why I had not received a confirmatory email wrt price. Agent came back after a long pause and confirmed purchase price of 799.99 CDN (online: I took another screenshot) but stated NO confirmatory email until order" had been processed fully". This of course makes no business sense. I now get the feeling that no carrier will be posting their pricing until last possible moment, meanwhile shopBB will continue to charge and receive 100$ more. If this is by design, it smells somewhat. We shall see.
P.S. He was unable to give me a contract price

I wont even blame the carriers for this, I blame BlackBerry for having such a botched release. It's disappointing.. But why offer a reservation when the carrier has NO information on their website? This has to stop... They did it for the Nexus 6P and it wasn't until a week or two until the pricing went up.

If it's $799/$399 on term then I'll get it, if it's a dollar more I will not. I can sell my Note 4 for $400 and if I buy the Galaxy S6 Edge+ for $580 I should be able to get back what I paid for it if not a bit more..

I wonder which store you went to, because stores don't even have the price yet. All it showed on the screen in the system is BB PRIV 0.00 and entered in the system since 10/14/2015.

This is the Rogers store in Eaton Centre.

I just hate that I have to wait until November 6th, 2 weeks away to do this. I was hoping this Friday's rumour would be true.
Hey who knows, they might start shipping them later. Pray to the blackberry gods!

I was hoping to get the 'financed' on contract price from Telus. But if it is that high on contract, I think I may just get a wireless charging version from the states.

Common sense is in your side... the evidence however is not. But I do hope you are correct.

There is however conflicting evidence... FCC says they are all tested for the charging, including the non listed UK model STV100-4.

Let's just wait until the devices are delivered and check the documentation.
