    This will be my first Android phone, probably like most here. I have an Samsung tab but never use it to its full potential, (I hope) so what are some tips and tricks/shortcuts or links to good tutorials about android so I can be a pro right out of the box.

    I suggest you wait for Priv and play with the OS. There must be a tutorial as well like BlackBerry 10. Don't worry about it, you'll learn.

    Also, have some patience. There is a bit of a learning curve with Android.

    You mean the swipe gesture while typing like on the Passport? They've already showcased that feature in their video.

    I assume you already have a gmail account created for your tab??? If not, do so.

    1 - Set up your Google+ profile how you like it. I have mine set up to keep my pictures private. When I take a picture on my phone it automatically uploads to G+ where I can save unlimited photos. Just get your permissions squared away.

    2- Check out this Google site and get everything there set up as well.

    Step 1: Give a friend a Taser.

    Step 2:Every time you swipe up, he will tase you.

    Do this several times and you will be an Android power user in no time (assuming you survive).
