I just got an AT & T update. I'm assuming its the July security patch .... but I clicked on 'update' without really thinking it through. My phone is in the 'shutting down' mode for the past 5 minutes and I haven't touched it, and reading a lot of the other forum posts on here makes me think this should be a MM update, but I guess that's more of a 'I wish upon a star' kind of a thing at this point ...

I will find out in some time and keep you all posted :-)

BTW ... Did anyone else get the update?

EDIT: It looks like its Marshmallow!! My phone has been 'updating' for the past 90 minutes. Its been on the 'updating android apps' for the past 20 minutes. Looks like this is going to take time. Shouldn't have done it in the middle of the work day ... but meh ... its MM :-)

I just inserted my AT&T sim and checked for an update. Says I'm current. I go take a bathroom break and now my phone is downloading an update. I have no clue how big or what it is

Just got it, too, on my unlocked AT&T phone (with AT&T sim).

Was surprised the update to Marshmallow didn't take longer than it did. At first I thought it was another monthly lollipop security update.

Sorry does this work the same as the bb10 ones? I'm getting mine soon (it's currently in the mail) and im thinking it's just best to download and flash before I get going. Thoughts?

I hope the battery life is better. I am missing the bb10 and before batt life. Feel like a wall hugger. What's new with this update?

Received the update here in Denver now running Android 6.0.1 Build AAF355. Interesting the security patch is dated June 1 but I'm sure July's will arrive shortly.

Took one hour and 5 minutes to complete the OS download and do all the app updates so be patient.

Overall pretty happy with AT&T pushing Marshmallow a bit over 2 months after BlackBerry releasing it to their unlocked Privs... 👍

    No.

See post #9 above for the autoloader if you want to go that route.

Apologies for the stupidity. But does the autoloader wipe the phone and reinstall the os? Basically, is this like doing a fresh install? And, do I download the zip file and plug my phone in to laptop and let it work? Thanks for any guidance.
