Hope the release cycle will be faster from first beta to first gold. T-Mobile took a full 5 weeks, Unlocked NA just took one week.

Based on history there's usually one more build before that goes gold.

Downloading it now. BB had a bug that prevented it from downloading. They fixed so if you signed up you should be able to force the OTA udpate.

So how do we get in on this beta?

Received the invite email a couple hours ago, finished errands to get home to a Wi-Fi environment, followed the step by step instructions, logged into Beta Zone, made all entries in order which is tedious, registered as developer on Priv, accepted all conditions, read notes for Beta #6 (only Beta that applies for AT&T network Priv), noticed final step of entering *#*#CHECKIN#*#* in phone, and then received Priv notification that MM system update is available for download. In progress and will leave alone for a couple hours after reading the other stories about interrupted and slow updates. The BB adventure continues!

If you signed up when they first started pushing Beta's then BB will send an invite. Believe that is the only way.

Me too. Waiting for the download. Wondering why there isn't a loading bar or something to show its progress. Oh well, no big deal. Excited to have it downloading.

There is a loading bar, it's hard to see. Make sure you are scrolled all the way down.

And just curious, anyone receiving the update without an AT&T SIM?

So, I got a little ahead of myself. Started the download without enough free time to let it finish. When the download is finished will it automatically start the update process or give me a prompt that I can put off until later?

I have the same issue it appears to be an issue with the incorrect serial # on file I saw somewhere to email betainfo@blackberry.com I am awaiting a response.
I got a replacement BB from att and im pretty sure its the cause of the issue.

Update - 2.5 hours later and after a couple reboots + Google Play Store BB app updates for MM, phone is stable and works great! MM download took much longer than expected, as did installation, reboot and update of 66 files. Phone got warm, seemed sluggish at first, but has settled down. First impression is a few nice upgrades, display seems more dim, which requires a higher brightness setting, no picture password, but does add a pattern password, and volume seems louder for usual settings. Lots more to investigate!

Hopefully, BlackBerry will soon announce how to bypass the "needing an active AT&T SIM" requirement... Many of us abroad are stuck with unlocked AT&T branded PRIVs...

Congratulations to those getting the AT&T Marshmallow Beta, please keep us updated with the changes!

Enjoying MM on my Priv. After settling in phone is cool to the touch and snappy. Picture password still works you just have to set up a primary security code, pin, password, etc. After that's in place you can turn the Picture Password back on.
