    On my Priv, if I swipe to the left on the physical keyboard while typing the last few words it will delete the last word.

    Can I turn this off or better yet have a keyboard swipe action either up, down, left, or write move the cursor icon?

    For the life of me, I can't find this in the settings anywhere.

    Thanks, but I don't want to completely disable keyboard gestures. I like most of the gestures. I just don't like that one particular aspect of it.

    Is it possible to disable backspace by swiping on the keyboard while leaving everything else in tact or am I stuck having to kill the whole feature?

    Double tap the keyboard to get it into "move cursor mode"

    Seems the answer is "no" then. Too bad, I like the swiping to browse a web page. The swipe left means delete words however is a bummer that made me switch off keyboard swiping. Would also be happy to find a possibility to only eliminate that left swipe.

    Turn on swipe typing... that disables it.
