I bought a carrier free unlocked Priv STV100-4 but haven't received the update yet. I thought I red on Crackberry I should have it by now.

Is there something wrong or should I still receive it later?

Only ShopBB devices from UK and France got the update in Europe (STV100-4 models). The rest have to wait till may 3rd. And yeah, don't ask, why.

Also not arrived here yet: STV100-4 other then UK/FR - bought at 3rd party shop (as BBshop isn't selling here) but unlocked and no carrier model

So it seems it will be may 3rd then - i'll take that extra week as large beta fieldtest time, so bb can push out app fixes and we have time to collect solutions for errors, like:

I don't get it. An stv100-4 is an stv100-4 .what difference does it make where it was bought from?? It makes no sense the fact that we haven't yet received the update!...

Maybe it's a kind of legal issue, or BlackBerry simply wants to give some benefit to it's very specific buyers, who knows.

I got the phone through Carphone Warehouse in the UK and no Marshmallow yet. I thought it might have come early as it's not carrier dependent presumably.

Maybe BlackBerry documents which serial number or IMEI groups go to what seller and updates using those numbers

Could it even be they aren't allowed to deliver the sec patch update (incl. In MM) much prior to googles nexus release? And just have some special agreement for shop devices (cause of enterprise customers)?
