Has anybody actually done a side by side spec comparison? The PRIV just owns the new iphone and its not even close! BlackBerry Priv vs. Apple iPhone 6 vs. Apple iPhone 6s - GSMArena.com

Two particularly notable examples: I cant possibly list them all, but check out the link yourself and prepare to be surprised.
    Memory
on the iphone is a joke, compared to the awesome expandable priv memory up to 2 TB,
    Resolution:
the privresolution blows the iphone out of the water: priv: 1440 x 2560 pixels (~540 ppi pixel density) v. pathetic iphone 6:750 x 1334 pixels (~326 ppi pixel density)

A ton of Android devices have better specs than the iPhone.

The only difference that matters is how many devices are sold. And I can bet you that the 6s will outsell the Priv by ten fold.

All platforms have their strengths and weaknesses.

Apple has done well pairing its software with its hardware. Performance is excellent.

Lack of memory card support has probably made Apple a fortune selling its 64GB devices.

Apple has control over both hardware and software whereas android is controlled by Google... the hardware is well optimized in an IPhone.. You can't say the same with Android... all they want to do is release a new model every month with the most updated specs... where is the time for optimization?

I believe BlackBerry might pull this one with the Priv as it is the only phone that's going to be available with android and they can invest all their resources on optimizing it...

Not a good comparison, one device is meant for people who use a device for productivity primarily, the other device is for people who are less interested in productivity, it's media, its apps, it's personal. Almost like comparing a minivan and a coupe. Both are powered and effective for the intended use. IMO, if the battery cannot last all day, it's useless, regardless of the intended use.

All of you [likely isheep] are missing the point. If you compare spec by spec, the iphone isnt even in the same league as the priv, yet all of you sheep find reasons why its a "better" phone for each sheep. But from the objective data, the SPECS, iphone6 is a piece of crap compared to the priv. People may like phones for certain reasons, but in terms of the things that determine crucial features such as how clear a screen looks, how much power/memory a phone has, the PRIV dominates the iphone6, and those are features that are wanted by everyone. Everyone. Even isheep.

Convert to real word performance though.

The LG G4 has the same CPU, GPU, and resolution of the Priv. See this:

Some benchmarks are better, and some are worse.
