What version of BlackBerry 10 is that phone running? It looks absolutely nothing like any version of bb10 I have ever seen. It also looks absolutely ridiculous. Almost like Chen is holding a classic behind a samsung device. It's so crazy big.
It's probably not running BB10. If the major components come from Samsung then it's probably running something else. That's probably why there's no close-up photo.
My thoughts exactly. That looks like an android app drawer (or card) as opposed to the bb10 homescreen and the stylized icons are reminiscent of touch wiz.
I have a friend who used to work at BlackBerry and he got laid off when the big lay off happened, but still has many buddies there and goes to focus groups ect. He said that supposedly there's a android passport in circulation at BlackBerry. And says BlackBerry is going to start to release android OS on some BlackBerry devices. He said there will still be bb10 devices as well. So this phone having say an android os wouldn't surprise me
It's running windows vista but you can't see any of it, it's just a full screen photo app showing a photoshopped screenshot of a Z30 app screen
Who cares . It's not a production unit, it's probably running some kind of demo/dev branch/fork of BB10?
UI is not the question here. Ui can be adjusted to absolutely anything...
What I am really curious about is how the curved edges will be used, how the sliding mechanism will really work.
If those buttons (call,..) are hardware buttons or just software and we can't just see the difference on the bad pictures
Looks more like this pic. It has tool belt like in classic.
It is definitely not BlackBerry OS10.3.1 as you know the icons in BlackBerry OS10.3.1 has decreased and are very tiny but in the pic it looks very big. It maybe the next BlackBerry OS or more of android +bb OS combined.
Really waiting to get hands on it...
Probably early 10.4. Just the header gives it away as a BB10 build. No Android skin I know has such a clean layout; battery at left, time in the middle, connectivity on the right.

Or its the blackberry experience suite on top of touchwiz
The bottom buttons are a little strange, though I'm drawing no conclusions. The rest is likely BB10.3.2. You can clearly see the top left icon is the "BllackBerry Hub" icon, second row on the right is the "Assistant" icon, second row left is "Text Messages", and there are a bunch of folders on the bottom.
The Z30 running 10.3 has 6 rows of icons. There's nothing really strange about this OS.

If I'm not wrong the curved screen will be used for this!
