Yeah but they aren't touching the photo to make it do this. I think like Velerynn said it's a sammysung device using a bb10 screen shot and PTtptppt said that it appears to be a concept especially since there aren't and blackberry press logos behind the device in the photo

    Something strange about that slider-img_20150313_100819.png

It's a rectangle screen with some icons. LOL, all the speculation about what OS it's running is just weird.

It's running windows vista but you can't see any of it, it's just a full screen photo app showing a photoshopped screenshot of a Z30 app screen

Who cares . It's not a production unit, it's probably running some kind of demo/dev branch/fork of BB10?
UI is not the question here. Ui can be adjusted to absolutely anything...

What I am really curious about is how the curved edges will be used, how the sliding mechanism will really work.
If those buttons (call,..) are hardware buttons or just software and we can't just see the difference on the bad pictures
Actually it's running windows Me. "Quivers *

Wtf??? You do realize on like the second page of this thread somebody took the brightness and contrast up a notch in the pic and its pretty much proven its an alpha/beta build device thats not even close to final product. Aka not a samsung device -.- Wait a few months and youll see a much refined looking slider with less black blockyness and more chrome and smooth.

Trouble there is every Samsung slider I've ever laid hands on was rather crap in terms of build quality. Loose mechanism, the whole thing felt flimsy and cheap. If Samsung builds any more than the screen for this thing we're in trouble.

It runs nothing! It is just a printed screen shot behind the screen. You can notice that in the video if you pay attention, when it slides it closed.

I still don't see how the icons could all be blown-out white if this is a photo of an actual screen. The Hub notification should be red and it clearly isn't on this screen. The color of the hand looks natural so why doesn't the screen have any color?

It's been practically proven it's a transparent "screen shot" with light up leds under it - OLEDS don't really give off that much light as it is doing on his land.

All these people are crazy, that clearly looks like bb10. You can see the call and the find symbol at the bottom and then it's most likely a camera bottom for the third one. The apps are lined up just like bb10, the battery area looks the same as well.

It's simply a BlackBerry concept device with a backlight inside and a single-image screen on the front of a generic BlackBerry10.3.1 home screen.

What is with all this other OS speculation people, we're smarter than this!

It seems the BB10 Slider is based on a OLED (Probably a Super AMOLED) by Samsung. Which is why on Video it looks Pale and White. Had it been IPS like the Z10, it would have shown nice Colours not bright washed out colors.

OLED pixels produce there own light/colours each where as IPS LED screens have a backlight. Etc., explains it now. The phone needed to be in a good angle to actually get a good colour based shot.

Z30 is using OLED displays and I can assure you that is not pale/white enough to look like that. That is a dummy phone to show only the hardware style of the phone, to analyze the reaction of the masses to the device. I doubt it has a legit display on it. Most likely it's a led powered printed menu. I stated in a comment before, you can figure that out of you watch the video.
