I believe they mentioned the fourth would have a physical keyboard, though I may be wrong. It'd certainly make sense though, seeing as Chen said a few months back that they had a Passport 2 in the pipeline.
    This slider is PKB

Looks like the headphone jack is on the bottom (post 41)

Post 58 looks like it is a working until...unless the first picture in 58 is the Leap and the second the slider. The screen images are different which leads me to believe the latter. On the other hand why would he still hold the white slider in both and switch the black one only?

The icons look pretty much exactly the same as those in the picture here.

Which I believe is the Leap, so I'm pretty certain it is BB10. Also, the buttons across the bottom look like the Call, Search, and Camera buttons to me. And, I'm willing to believe he is holding it like that so he could slide them open with one hand.

The thing is, the screen looks rather tall to me. That is assuming the part across the bottom is screen, and it certainly looks like it is in some of the pictures. So, I took the second picture from here. Which seems to be the straightest shot I could find.
I straightened it out the best I could and drew a 16:9 box around the screen the best I could. Albeit the picture isn't perfectly straight on, but the result is interesting.

    Something strange about that slider-hsdsxjp.jpg

I don't know, maybe its just my imagination, maybe its because it appears the sides are rounded off like the Galaxy S6, maybe its just the pictures, maybe I've had a Passport too long. When I first saw the Slider it looked like that black bar on the bottom was either buttons or extra screen.

The other picture is less convincing.

    behind the keyboard.
    Edit :
In fact. I think that the screen move up, and not the KB. Sry for my mistake

Seems likely to me. If it was a real phone they would be more careful about holding the thing by the touchscreen, less they accidentally do something and crash it in front of everybody.

The differences in the OS could simply be chalked up to being a quick mockup thrown together at worst, and hints at 10.4 at best.
You have to put your thumb on the screen to slide it open right?

So are they trying to make the classic obsolete right away? I assume these are both still a few months away.

Well since the Classic was announced exactly a year ago at the same event then this slider phone is probably about a year away from being launched on one of the big US carriers.

It's not a dummy unit and it's running bb10. His thumb is in the middle of the phone because he originally had it closed and he slid it up to expose the keyboard and show its a slider! LOL. Now stop the madness and get ready to enjoy a great phone that will use the curved display in innovative ways.

so If the slider mechanism is indeed complete which many of you don't think it is it seems, I suppose BB found a way to make a more slim slider mechanism. Awesome, as I remember that was one of the main reasons as to why they were not making another?

Pretend that your slab phone is a slider. You might put your thumb in the middle of the screen to slide it up but once you are done you hold it by the sides when you want to show it to people. You don't leave your thumb in the middle of the screen unless you are very awkward about the way that you display a smart phone. He doesn't hold the Leaps that way doing the same presentation.

He is either holding the two parts of the phone together for some reason or holding it open or he is actually holding some kind a screen overlay. My guess is that the slider mechanism moves on track but it doesn't lock open or closed yet.

That still doesn't mean the phone didn't have BB10. It might have simply been displaying a mockup photo at full-frame.

Are you being serious here? Are you really trying to sell the idea that they would go so far as this and not have these mock-ups at least have a functioning sliding mechanism?

You must have never used a 9800 or even better a 9810 because they don't "lock".

What version of BlackBerry 10 is that phone running? It looks absolutely nothing like any version of bb10 I have ever seen. It also looks absolutely ridiculous. Almost like Chen is holding a classic behind a samsung device. It's so crazy big.

Yeah I like to look at the photos with an air of sadness for the presenter, even. Like they know that there's not even a real battery in the ones he got today, and it's still got this godawful Samsung lens ring, but they still have to wave it around cause the good one is coming.

If stuff like this is the result of John Chen going in and sending his elite team of assassins into the Foxconn parts catalog, I'm all for it. Sooner later it's going to work!

No, its exactly BB10 specialised for slider, there's no necessity to put Search and other buttons at the screen, but its on the frame! Like samsung does by back button !
