For me, I guess it will depend on how much more than 600€ it will be.

I confirmed today that it is Android OS.

Android has been able to do this for a while. Hell, I can play YouTube on the corner of my screen while doing other things on my phone.

Similar situation here. Looking at the new Nexus devices or something out of the Xperia Z5 range. Yet, I'm a big BlackBerry fan and I've become so used to physical keyboards over the years that I'm not sure if I could give it up. Also, I actually really like BB10 but the app situation here, even as a moderate app user, is just horrible and this probably won't change.
As all those devices will be coming out in the next two months, I'll probably just wait and see. I'd love to see a hands on with the slider though.

I am eagerly awaiting this device, cash in hand. As long as it has the physical keyboard I love + the hub, I am good.
I think this a great direction for BlackBerry to go in, a secure android backed by BES12, with the productivity features of BlackBerry 10, on premium hardware, while the brand still has some value. Longer rant on this:

I will consider something like this next year for now I just love the Passport SE

My two year contract ends in February, so I can wait until then to get the slider..... Til then I am enjoying my Passport, with playstore, amazon, and BBworld. I will be happy to no longer have to kludge around to get the apps I want, but still have a good physical keyboard.
I will be getting the unit talking to someone today he has it and it's great 18mp camera running android and the keyboard is the same as passport with the touch technology to scroll and everything. It sounds great no sign of dual platform

I'm buying one for sure.

If I would buy an android it would be the Sony Z5..
Which has a keyboard and the BlackBerry Productivity Suite? ...
Besides, their email and calendar apps ar crap at best.

I love my Sony z3c and I'm really tempted to buy the z5c but I really really want that physical keyboard on the Venice.

Oh you already have of those to say that?
The leaked images of the slider has a keyboard and shows icons for BlackBerry hub, calendar and contacts. It's a pretty safe bet.
I thought you were talking about the Z5 that their email and calendar were crap.
I am pretty sure that is what he meant. I haven't tried them. (I assume those programs are the same as in the previous version.)
It makes sense for android bb devices to come with the suite to make it more enticing for buyers to buy. Why should bb not include them in their android phones? They can still make it hard for people to use their apps for free on other android phones.
