Was wondering if anyone else had this issue or knew a solution. Did the latest Snapchat update a few days ago, and now when I open it, the app is not pulling anything from the camera. It's just a black screen, even when I switch to the front facing cam. My camera has no issues outside the app, so it's not that. Any ideas?

I have a Priv also with Snapchat and everything works well, albeit performance is as meh as it was.

It's an issue with v10.6.X. Many devices are affected.

Go back to v10.5.7.

Another workaround that sometimes works is to start your camera first, close it, and then load Snapchat.

Mine stopped working like 3 days ago on my priv same issue black screen on front and back camera won't record video either I done everything in mind to try to get it working still not working smh

My Priv/Snapchat is updated to the latest versions and I'm not having any trouble. I'm on the Beta though so maybe that's why? I would try re-installing the app. If that doesn't work, I'd try installing the beta version. My version is v10.6.3.0 Beta.

Thanks for letting me know, good to know it's not only my device being affected. I tried starting the camera first and then opening Snapchat, unfortunately same result. Hopefully the next update fixes things.
