Any info where the fulcrum would be for the open slider thinking about the tip tendency while typing ??? Also, will the KB be capacitive ??

A 'sliding keyboard' is really nice thing to have for a start... but for a long term usage, don't know with you guys, but I have a not so good experience with N9000 mechanical part... hopefully, the mechanical part on Venice is more durable...

Any physical measurements for slider closed & open? I would like to evaluate the tipping stress... the opened device shown in leaks looks enormous !! The center of gravity could prove an issue to some... I might consider buying it to resolve issues with hand pain using the passport...

I Had a HP Pre3 slider which functioned VERY well from the aspect of slider solidity... device now out of date n well supported anymore, but the Slider & KB were first class...

IMHO the KB of the Pre3 was better than that of the Passport & t balance was good so I never had pain in my hands like I do with the passport on long sessions...

I was in hopes of someone showing it both closed & open balanced on a fulcrum to see where the tipping point lies... same for passport (I am able to do that myself with mine)... videographer states "well balanced" but that is a single opinion not as satisfying as data to me...

He compared it to the torch which was top heavy when the keyboard was out so that gives you some information

just says "Attached Thumbnails" - this happens a lot on mobile version for the forum. Rather annoying as I miss out on so much.

Thanks... I was afraid of that... 7.3" tall... a monster !! I am loath to see how that can feel well balanced especially holding the chin to type... sad to say I am not rushing to the store to pre-order... would like to see a passport slider maybe or a venice mini...

The choice of "venice" is ironic... it's the size of a canal boat... bummed

There aren't many Android devices these days under 5". You need to be in the mix. LG G4 is 5.5", and S6 Edge is 5.1". This one appears to be 5.4".

The people who have played with it so far seem to like it.

Have you tried the Android version of the CrackBerry app? Someone said they thought it worked better than the BB10 version.

I had the Torch 9800 and had no issue with the mechanics of the slider. It lasted me 3 yrs no issues. From the looks of the video this slider looks much more robust.
