Can I use my old SIM card for my new Priv? Both phones are Priv's and the carrier (AT&T) is the same as well.

If it's tied to an active account then yes it should work.

Even if not active, they will reactivate on the phone, save a trip to the store.

Just don't authorize them to cancel the old Sim card, when they register the replacement phone. Once a Sim card has been cancelled, the card itself cannot be reactivated.

I believe you are correct, and that they automatically cancel the old SIM on a post paid plan when they issue a new SIM. Not sure about prepaid.
I might should have worded my response better.
