    Asking or telling?

    If asking, no.

If telling, would you mind supplying the source.

Nope buddy of mine is a intern there
Absolutely no way an intern would be given access to that device. Positively not.

Gotta be a Snapdragon 830 with 5GB of Ram and a 52MP camera with a 5K screen or else android die hards will just trash talk it like they do the HTC M9. I'll never understand a true android fans need to have thier phones with the best possible everything.

This is wrong because I've heard otherwise from someone I actually trust.

Furthermore if these really are the specs, then it means the passport (almost year old) has better specs. If these are really the specs, people will just buy a Leap (cheaper with similar specs)

Mate they aren't going to make a slider with worse hardware than the previous devices
Get your head out of your rear end and actually use your brains
No way your "intern friend" would actually be given information like that
I had a friend who actually worked there are a programmer, and even he didn't have correct information 50% of the time
You need someone really high up to actually know the specs of devices that as far as I know, hasn't even gone to internal testing
Not to mention that based on your English, I don't think you're from Canada. And all internal devices are first tested within Waterloo for a few months before going to other BB headquarter testing about 2 months or so prior to release
So either you're being BSed by your "buddy" or your "buddy" is being BSed to from whoever his source is from

Considering his intern friend it might not be his head in the rear end.

Classic is to bring Bold users to bb10, and Bold users are used to slow device with bad specs.

Leap is targeting people that don't want to pay much for a phone.

Classic and Leap are aimed at a different target then the Slider will be. I'm guessing the Slider will have basically the same specs as the Passport.

i vey very highly doubt it using an s4 pro more than likely it will use a exynos or big snapdragon 815+ specially with the fact its using a duel curved display not gonna ruin the performance of it

I got confirmation on an exynos octacore processor from Samsung. That's why BBRY layed off some of their hardware division because they just use their partners division.
