checking right now (12:25p), it says 840. so is that good or bad? what do you guys think..

Hard to say how good it is since there hasn't been any real marketing by BB yet. I remember seeing a figure that Apple did over 30K an hour for awhile after the iPhone 6 launch but that is with tons of fanfare and world class marketing.

I honestly think they are not going to sell many. Don't think atleast a handful are aware PRIV can be pre ordered now or is releasing next month. Pity.

Sure the fact that in the UK, they are selling about 5 an hour on a pre-order means nothing... nothing at all. It demonstrates the strength of the loyal fanbase.

They shut it off before I could look at CAN - but looks like 500 UK, 1000 US - there were 550 left when they switched off US, there are 388 left in the UK.

Actually you might've missed one factor, in UK the preorder was open a few days earlier at CPW. So those who are okay with this price point likely would've already preordered. I'm sure there are those like me who are waiting for the first round of discount or carriers, so I'm not too concerned about the "low" preorder numbers.

Good point - I was mistaken as well and miscounted- it's 4 an hour.

For those people comparing it to the Passport release, there is one big difference. The Passport was available on Amazon also. For the Priv, this is it (besides the carriers).
