Whoa, why did this happen? Anyone else have their sd card get a random name like this out of nowhere?

Interesting... That's not even supposed to be its name, it should just say "SD card" there as far as I can see.

Did it happen out of the blue? Have you maybe assigned it a volume name when you formatted it?
The more important question, does it work normally? Perhaps it got corrupted somehow?

It uses the volume label of the drive so you can plug the sd card in any computer and label it whatever you want.

That's what mine used to show too. Then all of a sudden it looks like what I posted. No issues with the card from what I can tell. It has been in there since I moved it from my Q10 and haven't done any reformatting or anything. I may try backing it up on my pc, take it out of the priv and into an adapter to put in the pc and see what it looks like there, then put back in the priv.

When I put it in a pc, the card has no name. Very weird. I copied it to the pc and re-formatting the card now on the pc and will then copy the files back. Will see if that resolves

Have you tested the card using SD insight? Here's the blurb:

"If you’re a digital camera or gadget enthusiast you are probably aware that it can be difficult to know if your SD card is actually authentic.

Counterfeit memory cards have now spread throughout the marketplace. Packaging on the cards can make it difficult to distinguish a fake SD card from the real thing.

SD Insight is a free, fast and easy to use application that you use on your cell phone. Within seconds the application reads the technical details from your SD card and displays the information in an easy to understand format. "

I've had this card for 4 or 5 years. Never had any issues. If it acts up again though, I may check this out. Thanks for the info.
