    Can anyone determine the surface area of the priv compared to the Passport. Not screen size but the surface area.

    Passport is 128x90.3 = 11.558,4 square mm
    Priv (closed) is 147 x 77.2 = 11.348.4 square mm

    Passport screen area: 10.1 sq. in.
    Passport (when displaying 16:9 content): 5.7 sq. in.

    Priv screen area: 12.5 sq. in.

    I wanted the square MM of the active display. I meant like, I dont want the diagonal size.

    I wonder if BlackBerry will stop their "Work Wide" graphics for the Passport on their page now that their new release doesn't "Work Wide" lol

    When I measure my scaled renders, I get:
    Priv Screen Area is about 2.73 in x 4.70 in = 12.83 square inches.
    Passport Screen Area is about 3.30 in x 3.30 in = 10.9 square inches

    When I do a calculation based on the specifications:
    Priv Screen is 2560 x 1440 at 540 dpi
    Passport Screen is 1440 x 1440 at 453 dpi
    I get:
    Priv Screen Area is 2.67 in x 4.74 in = 12.64 square inches (8156 square mm)
    Passport Screen is about 3.18 in x 3.18 in = 10.1 square inches (6519 square mm)

    By calculation the Priv screen area is about 25 percent larger than the Passport.

    I suppose that BlackBerry Limited will continue to promote Passport with the Work Wide tag line.

    Work Tall may be an appropriate tag line for PRIV.
