What if Samsung stops supplying the screen parts when PRIV get a success? Correct me if I'm wrong, I remember Samsung did this to HTC, but I forgot the name of the phone.

I don't think Samsung is the supplier of the Priv screens, Priv uses LCD, Samsung uses AMOLED

So far I haven't known whether It's Samsung Or LG is supplying for Priv's screen part, since they are the only two players capable of making curved displays. Hope that blackberry won't get stuck there.

Your post will attract attention cuz many believe its a curved display hence has to be amoled. Personally not convinced actual display is curved

The screen is curved. It is is LCD, so it is much less of a curve than the Galaxy unfortunately. Not sure what benefit such a small edge will have to productivity.

Screen looks pretty curved to me. That's not just curved glass. Chen also said in the BNN interview it's their first curved screen.

Not pointless. It's the gimick de jour. And the masses love their gimicks.

On the Priv, you'll notice a less distinct curve than you'd find on the S6 Edge - as noted above. To clarify, this is due to the Priv using an LCD tech, where the S6 Edge uses a more easily curved AMOLED display

Do you have some links talking about samsung stopping the supply of the screens to HTC?

I tried googling but couldn't find anything about it and am curious about it. Things like that are usually on contracts. So HTC orders 10,000 screens, and then samsung fills the order, maybe even accepts additional orders for the future. Samsung then is contractually obligated to make the screens for HTC.

I still do not believe it is LCD simply because the screen has a different colour when it is off. It has a slightly green colour to it when it is off similar to my AMOLED display on my Moto X. I have never seen a LCD look green when it is off. Looking at them both head on they look almost black but at certain angles I'm able to tell the difference. See the pictures I just took with my Moto X AMOLED vs my Z10 LCD.

See this is the slider with the screen off, similar green colour but not as obvious however mine was in a bright room.

I believe I am right unless someone can show me a LCD panel that looks green.

A certain angles in a bright environment. You won't see it looking head on or at a slight angle which is why nobody has really complained about it. All SAMOLED displays have that characteristic, that "green tint" appearance when off. I really think that reviewer doesn't know what he's talking about.
