What you think??

If I'm honest I'm not sure if I need it. The only app I use that is BB10 native is Reddit in Motion. Everything else I have is Android-based.
Dreaming

Runtime would be pretty difficult but there's an option and I still hope BlackBerry will persuade one day. Release Cascades for Android and let developers rebuild theirs apps.

No...remember the market they are going after. The droid fanboys have ZERO use or interest for Blackberry World apps.
i thought that's what they were going to do initially.

What life-changing apps are not available in the Android ecosystem, but are exclusive to BlackBerry? What would be the point of all this?

Exactly! The BB native apps that are left to use will be included in the Blackberry Suite of apps that will come with the slider or sold separately for all platforms. Other than that, any other BB native app is now I find to be extremely inferior to the Android equivalent. That's from my experience. I can't trust anything in the BB World anymore!
Igrann and int10 are both better than the native Instagram, blaq is a better Twitter client, Reddit in motion is a great app, and a few other. I actually think they are much better than the choices available on android.

Would you say the same thing if they were running on another layer within an Android OS?
Bedsides, there are countless 3rd party apps for many of these on Google Play too. You also might feel differently about the original apps when they are running natively, with properly working notifications.

BlackBerry Travel, Facebook, Pictures, WhatsApp, Evernote.
These are the few apps that I feel is life changing for me though some of these apps are available on Android but they are better on BlackBerry 10.

The BB10 Facebook app? Really?
Even the mobile site on the browser is better than the actual app on BB10.

I'm using an android phone now. I hate the stock Instagram app, it's awful. And there are no 3rd parties. When you have rue official apps, developers get lazy on them. It makes sense, few people would use them anyway. To be fair, I haven't really checked for Twitter, but I'm sure blaq is better. It's also pretty much impossible to find a good email client and a good calendar on android, I'm actually really hyped for the hub handling emails and the blackberry calendar.
And just wait until everyone realizes how garbage all the browsers are on android too.

I think there's no reason to want it other than be a cheapskate and avoid forking over 10 or 20.00 to get the better Android versions of your paid apps if needed

Sorry but I find this idea pointless. If you certain BB10 apps on android then ask the dev to make them for android. There is no need to hinder the performance on the Priv with this type of bloat
Unbelievable.
BlackBerry Travel is one that BlackBerry needs to port or include.
It is, arguably, a perfectly-justifiable reason to buy a BB10 device if you travel frequently all on its own, standing alone, trumping everything else.
It's that good, it's that useful, and I've found nothing else that comes anywhere close. It has, several times, alerted me to gate changes while I'm in the airline terminal before the board comes up 5' away from me.
And it really just starts there. Auto-scanning all of your email accounts in the hub and picking up anything that is a hotel, car or airline reservation all on its own is very cool, and it gives you single-button access to maps to get you to the hotel as well without having to key an address or any such nonsense.
Of all the things BlackBerry has on the BB10 line for mobile professionals this is one that will be very sorely missed.
Battery Guru
It's ad free, and the best one, all the android ones throw in all these unneeded thing and then ads. All I want to see when I open the apps is my battery graph, temperature, and time remaining. I shouldn't have to go through all these button presses like I did on the few for android I tried.
Not happening but it's a cool idea

Remember, Print to Go, BlackBerry Travel, Mock It...Blend is also a really big deal but I'm pretty sure it's coming.
I love this app. Such a clean and simple interface.

BB Travel is really a re-branded WorldMate app (it uses WorldMate's services, and WorldMate is available for Android).
And all of those features are already natively supported by Google Now, so no additional app is even necessary.
Blackberry story maker would be the one Ly app I would really want on Android, there's nothing as good in the play store

No they're not (in Google Now), at least not in the sort of integrated form that Travel does.
I'll certainly look at WorldMate; that I have not used.
Wait until you see Google Now do its thing.
Truly, if you've never experienced modern Android/Google, if you've stayed within the BB ecosystem, you'll be like Kimmy Schmidt coming out from underground and experiencing New York City.
