The phone has not even been announced yet it does not have a price. Could it turn out to be 750? Sure! But I have my doubts, based on previous phones released from BBRY in recent history.

Ok so someone posted the picture of a duck and posted a price of 750 and you people are buying it? ROFL! We have no idea what the price will be BUT the Passport 499, and the Classic is 379. I think the Venice or Avenger or whatever will start out higher but not significantly so, I highly doubt it will be more than 599 US and it may well be less!
I'm retty sure the Passport started at $599, with a $50 discount for certain areas in the opening weeks. Also reasonably certain (but willing to be corrected) that the Classic started out around $449. Thus,

The price should be 699 USD and not a penny more.
is likely overpricing it, since I see this phone as falling somewhere between the Passport and the Classic even after considering "improved specs" and all.

$749.99 MSRP, $399-449 on contract. Or $599 when stacked with ShopBlackBerry coupons.
At the high end, I'd guess it will start there. I wouldn't be shocked to see $499 for the starting price. Wherever the price point gets set, it has to fall in that sweet spot area where people see it and say, "I'm willing to pay that much" and BB can make decent money on it. Overprice it, and this will sit on the shelves by the bunches. BB needs a solid double here, this is not the phone to go swinging for the fences.

I'm still not sure I'm going to pick a Slider up (unless we're talking White Castle sliders - that's absolutely happening this weekend), I want to see this live and get reviews on it - but assuming the news is good, at $500 I'd grab one and wouldn't think twice. At $600+? I look at my Z10 and say, "I can wait some more."

More likely around $299.99 -$399.99. And I don't think they'd go near the 3 range, the s6 launched at $249.99 and dropped down to $199.99.

The price should be 699 USD and not a penny more. I would even start with a 50 dollar discount in the first week. Get the damn phone in people's hands,k for god sake. Let us hope that Blackberry has learnt that disastrous lesson. Time for Blackberry to stop screwing around and to get the job done.
Or do what they did with the passport SE, give some accessories along with it for early adopters.

It's really doubtful that it will be any lower than the passport considering I paid 770ish after tax in Canada on launch day.

I project it will be at least 599-699 $ USD

This is a realistic price for a high end device. Not everyone will be buying this off contract. I know I will but I'm sure people waiting to upgrade or renew their contract might consider the Venice.

You got a good deal. Gazelle is only offering $20.

They're offering $200 for an iPhone 5S and $60 for the Galaxy S4.

If that is the price, it is cheaper than the Samsung S6 Edge and Edge Plus off contract.

Still better to have 2 phones IMO. BlackBerry will always be a work oriented phone while iPhones nor Android will always be in the leisure side. So yeah, no to cross design x platform chenanigan for me.

I wouldn't pay $1000 for a Prada or Coach Bag but, would have zero problems paying $1000.00 for a decent BB smartphone.

Correction: I wouldn't even pay $50 for a Prada or a Coach bag. LOL
