I purchased mine at the Rogers store this morning for $799. Initially they did not want to sell it to me until they confirmed I was a rogers customer, and "attached the imei" to my account without doing any hardware upgrade. They certainly were taking some measures to prevent non-rogers customers grabbing up the initial limited supply.

I paid $849.99+tax. Did anyone in Toronto area pay the $799?

I would rather pay $899 for the unlocked version that comes with wireless charging.

But $799 is good for a Rogers customer.

Rogers always adds $50 to the outright purchase price of their handset, making the price to buy $850.

I purchased mine in Toronto for $799+HST=902.87. I've purchased many phones outright over the years from rogers, never paid this extra $50 fee.

This is my point exactly. I'm a little disappointed.
