One reviewer on youtube put Priv on on stand and turned his unit into a fireplace to keep him warm. It was because of how hot it gets.

Well at beginning it's always normal the heat.

Ever own an iPad? You'll know what real heat is!

Just let the phone settle in a bit and it should be fine

I can confirm my PRIV was hot as hell from the moment I got it this morning to the moment I put it down a few minutes ago. Mine was made in Mexico. Curious to know where the reviewers' units were made?

I heard it's a Lollipop issue and Marshmallow fixes it. Blame Google.

Lol I'm not blaming anyone and overall I like the device but some of this stuff needs to be sorted out. BB can't afford another beta testing period with this OS. It needs to be fixed in a hurry.

Haha lol. You should have been around when Lollipop got pushed to Android devices from Kitkat. Insane memory leak, lag and heat. It's still a problem today until Marshmallow drops for devices .

But if it's a lollipop issue, BlackBerry can't fix it. It's not their platform, it's the platform they're using.

Yeah I heard about all the issues of the S6 when it came out and when Lollipop was pushed to the S5.

Hopefully BlackBerry can get Mash mellow to the Priv Asap.

My Q10 did this when I first got it. Not only because it was brand new and it was still settling itself in, but also because I couldn't stop using it!

That's BS - my wife's S6 Edge+ doesn't get warm at all. Some badly constructed handsets do, but certainly not all of them.
