Someone asked the guy who posted the hands-on photos on Reddit when it would be released, and he said all carriers in Canada by the end of October. Hopefully that means the same for the US. Take it or leave it...

Which adds up to what Evan Blass said about 4 US carrier launch in November.
Canada and UK launch was a bit earlier for the Passport as well.
If anyone have friends working at Telus I would start hammering them for info. They usually get launch dibs.

I do know someone working at Wireless Wave, but the only carrier they do not carry (excuse the recurrence pun) is Telus.
This would be the first time the BlackBerry10 phone comes to Canada before the US, right?

For the Passport the US got it before, and same for Z10, wasn't it? I remember being pissed I had to wait to get them :\

I sit on it every night. get with the times and upgrade already. No wonder Blackberry is dying. No one updates.
If I were to get the BlackBerry Priv, I definitely won't be getting it through the U.S. carriers. I had to wait what felt like eons to get my Q10 through AT&T. I'd probably get it unlocked directly through BlackBerry.
That's exactly as it should be. I've seen pictures of the inhabitants of the USA, playing the banjo and sipping moonshine on their porches with a shotgun across their knees while shouting to a pregnant "Darlene" to come empty the spitoon sometime before giving birth to her nephew/son. Then they have the cheek to accuse us of acting like we're superior. Duh!
