I have an SD card and have gone into the camera settings and set it t save pictures and videos to the SD. I've now recorded a video and can find where in the world it has gone.

If I go into the camera app then I can see the video, but it there not a Video folder like in BB10?

It's possible your SD card isn't working properly like quite a few of us here. I have had no luck with my SD cards even when the setting is to save to SD card. Go to camera and it should show up on the bottom left of the s screen. If not open photos check there or the settings menu photos under device folders.
