    I'm unable to connect to update servers when I check for updates.

    "Can't connect. Sorry we had trouble checking for system updates."

    I've tried on mobile network and WiFi. I'm on Verizon.

    Any ideas on how to fix this?

    I've had this problem since day 1. If you click the "ok" button and then "check for update" it will check. I seem to remember that the few updates we got on Verizon did come through so I suspect it's not a show-stopper.

    No need to bother checking. There aren't any.

    I opened a ticket with Verizon and they escelated it to level 2 support. No one has contacted me since.

    Maybe the message "there are not updates at this time or anytime in the near future".

    I was able to check last night without problems. Well, there was one problem - there is no update.

    I followed up with Verizon support and they're response was sending me a refurbished PRIV. I fixed the issue before it arrived. Removed and reseated the SIM card. Now it connects and says the usual "No updates".
