Yes sir. If my webteam screwed up something like that, no matter how minor or huge, I'd dock a day of pay just out of principle. I want everything to be accurate, but 3am? no.. not acceptable.

Are you looking at the schedule? The general sessions are scheduled for 8:30 am - 12:00 pm PDT and 1:30-5:00 pm PDT.

Closer inspection shows that was just the date the announcement/story was published. Can't fault them for us readers not reading more accurately. And if you look around many of the speaker announcements/articles written by Ina Fried are published at 3:00 AM...

And dock a days pay? What is this, the 1980s?

I understand, but traditionally CB would be on top of any appearances from BlackBerry execs and the like. Even though it's been well-known that Chen's expected to speak, we haven't seen any reporting lately to reflect that. Not saying it's not on the way, but I'm worried that this is an indication that Bla1ze and Co. are not optimistic about a product reveal today, or even any more juicy details about the Priv outside of what's already known.
