You'll get a notification there are updates. If you're connected to wifi generally they'll start to update automatically

It's google play store you set automatic updates and it wi automatically download the latest update for you.

They will never be up to date out of the box... it is software and software is obsolete the moment is packed into the installation package..

I really hope there will be tons of updates once I will turn on for the first time my Priv!
